Dr Simon Ethier, DMD

Before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal in 2011, Dr. Simon Ethier first completed a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in microbiology. A member of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, he chose dentistry for the challenges the profession brings and the meticulousness it demands. He also saw it as a way to put his perfectionism to good use and to satisfy his passion for technological advances. After his studies, he quickly joined the clinic’s team, of which he is now co-owner. Conscientious and precise, Dr. Ethier has developed over the years a strong interest in CEREC technology (which makes porcelain crowns, bridges and inlays possible in a single appointment) and in implantology.

He is known for his honesty, empathy and dedication: for him, the patient comes first. He treats every person in his care as if they were family. That is what drives him to always find the right solutions and take on technical challenges to give people back their smile. He is also happy to practise within a dynamic, dedicated team and with loyal patients! Outside dentistry, Dr. Ethier enjoys travel and camping.

Dr Alexandre Nadeau, DMD

As soon as he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal in 2015, Dr. Alexandre Nadeau joined the clinic’s team, of which he is now co-owner. He particularly loves this profession, which he chose to fulfil his lifelong wish to work in health care. In his view, dentistry perfectly combines helping people, technical challenges and problem-solving. Dr. Nadeau, a member of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, practises a varied general and family dentistry with a particular interest in CEREC technology and oral surgery. In every case, he makes sure his patients feel at ease and have a good experience, even if they are apprehensive at first.

This dedicated dentist is known for his integrity and professionalism. He places great value on the trust patients give to members of his profession, and honouring it by providing effective, appropriate and comfortable care matters greatly to him. To that end, he always gives his patients an accurate picture of their situation and recommends only the treatments they truly need or will benefit from. He cares deeply about this work ethic and finds it in every member of the Centre Dentaire Ethier & Nadeau team. Outside work, he loves music (especially metal) and video games. He is also a huge Star Wars fan and a lover of good food!

Dre Thérèse Overy

Before studying dentistry at the Université de Montréal, Dr. Thérèse Overy worked as a dental assistant for 10 years. That is when she developed her interest in dentistry and her wish to take her knowledge and practice further. She graduated in 1994 while pregnant with twin girls, which shows she is not afraid of a challenge! Over the years, she has taken many courses to hone her skills. A member of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, she has also developed a particular interest in cosmetic composite restorations. Passionate and caring, Dr. Overy firmly believes that every patient should feel at ease at the dentist. That is why she takes the time to listen to each person’s fears and adjusts her approach accordingly. She is always happy when she builds a lasting relationship with a patient, especially one who was very apprehensive at first!
